The Society of American Military Engineers (SAME) promotes the engineer, scientist, and architect career fields at colleges and universities through scholarships. Through

the Education & Mentoring Fund, we are also able to provide outreach to middle and high school students interested in engineering and the sciences (engineering contests, summer camps, etc.). The Golf Tournament is our premiere fundraising event to support these efforts.

Situated along the Chesapeake Bay, Rocky Point combines a groomed championship golf course with panoramic views of the Northern Chesapeake Bay. Help us make this worthy cause a success while having a great day of networking and fun!

Skills Challenges include: Longest Putt, Longest Drive, Straightest Drive and Closest to the Pin on all par threes!

Format of the tournament is a Scramble Mulligan, Power Tees and 24" Gimme String available at the check-in table.

Since 1971, golfers at Rocky Point have enjoyed breathtaking views of the Chesapeake Bay from several holes that border this great body of water. Rocky Point was recently named a Golf Digest three and a half star Places to Play Award Winner.

Directions:

From the I-95 (North or South) Take I-695 East toward Essex. Take I-695 to Exit 36 (Route 702 South) for 7 miles. Route 702 turns back into Back River Neck Road for 4 miles. Merge Right onto Back River Neck Road for 3 miles. Rocky Point is on the left of Back River Neck Road.
